The Center for Career and Leadership Development is excited to announce our new Career Champions Program! Career Champions is a campus wide program designed to visibly identify faculty and staff who are especially equipped to assist students with career decision making.
When faculty and staff partner with the Center for Career and Leadership Development, together we can make a powerful difference in the long-term, professional success of our students.
Need a student to work for you on a part-time, research, or temporary assignment on campus.
You often observe things like a student's punctuality, ability to work with others and how they confront challenges. In a strong field of candidates, these insights may provide an employer with important information that a GPA and resume can't always reflect.
For students with little or no professional experience, professors and co-op or internship supervisors become likely candidates to write letters of reference on the student's behalf.
